His passion for research and professional ambition led him to create a foundation that has given rise to internationally recognized medical (1979-1982), where Doctor Carre\u00f1o specialized in hepatology.<\/p>\n<p>At this hospital, her tutor,\u00a0<a title=\"Sheila Sherlock\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sheila_Sherlock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Sheila Sherlock<\/a>, one of the best doctors specialized in the study of the liver, for which she was\u00a0<strong>nominated six times for the Nobel Prize in Medicine<\/strong>, Dr. Sherlock, president and co-founder of the International Association for the Study of Liver from 1958 to 1962, pushed Dr. Carre\u00f1o to develop his career in Hepatology.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-14e3a535 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"14e3a535\" class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On his return to Spain, Vicente Carre\u00f1o completed his doctoral thesis, so that in 1985 he received his doctorate with <strong>Cum Laude and Special Prize of the Faculty of Medicine<\/strong>, Autonomous University of Madrid.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section D\u00edaz Foundation in Madrid from 1980-1995 and in 1995 he created the <strong>Hepatology Service of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fjd.es\/\">Jim\u00e9nez D\u00edaz Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, obtaining the Headquarters of the same and the position of deputy director of research, remaining in that position. Institution until the year 2000. From that date, he moved with all his equipment to the headquarters of the Foundation for the Study of Viral Hepatitis that he had created in 1990. Since then, the FEHV has continued its growth with a specialized <strong>Clinic in medical consultations and two laboratories<\/strong> for diagnosis and medical
